How This Site Is Funded

This site is free to read, and right now it earns nothing. There is no advertising, there are no affiliate links, and there are no paid placements of any kind — nothing on any page is here because someone paid us to show it. This page exists so that if that ever changes, the change is stated plainly and up front.

Today: no commercial relationships

As of July 11, 2026, Degree Dividend is a purely informational resource with no revenue. We run no "find your program" forms, we belong to no education lead-generation network, we carry no affiliate links, and we display no ads. No school, program, or company pays us anything — and none can pay to appear on a page, rank higher in a table, or be removed from one.

The hard rule: money never touches the data

Every ranking, table, and number on this site is computed from public federal data — College Scorecard, IPEDS, BLS — using the formulas published on the methodology page. If we ever add revenue, that rule does not change: no one will be able to pay for placement or to alter a figure. How we check facts and handle errors is described in the editorial policy.

If we add advertising later

If display advertising is introduced, the ads will be visibly labeled as advertising, kept clearly separate from editorial content, and this page will be updated before the first ad appears.

If we add affiliate links later

If a link to a course, test-prep product, or program ever becomes an affiliate link — meaning we earn a commission if you buy through it, at no extra cost to you — it will be marked as sponsored and the partner named here, again before any such link goes live.
