Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 11, 2026. Degree Dividend is a read-only information site published by the Degree Dividend editorial team. The short version: we do not collect your personal data. There are no accounts, no forms, no newsletter, no tracking cookies, and no analytics that identify you. There is nothing about you for us to store, share, or sell — because we never ask for it.

What we collect

Nothing personal. The site has no sign-up, no "find your program" form, no email capture, and no comment box. We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, or education background, and there is no field anywhere on the site to type them into.

The only data that exists at all is the standard server log every website receives to function: the IP address your request comes from, the page you asked for, the time, and your browser's user-agent string. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes these transiently to deliver pages and block abuse. We do not read them to build a profile of you, we do not link them to any identity, and we do not use them for advertising.

Cookies and tracking

We set no cookies. No analytics cookies, no advertising or retargeting cookies, no consent-preference cookie — none, because there is nothing to remember about you. We run no third-party analytics or tracking scripts. Because we set no cookies and use no cross-site trackers, the "Do Not Track" and Global Privacy Control browser signals have nothing to act on here — you are already private by default.

Third parties

We share personal data with no one, because we hold none. Cloudflare, which hosts and serves the site, processes standard request logs as described above solely to deliver and secure the pages. No data is sold, rented, or transferred to advertisers, data brokers, or lead-generation networks. There are no such relationships.

Your rights

There is no personal information on file to access, correct, or delete. If you have a question about privacy anyway, email privacy@degreedividend.com and a human will answer.

Children

This site is written for adults and college-bound students. It is not directed at children under 13, and since we collect no personal information from anyone, we collect none from children (COPPA).

If this ever changes

If we later add anything that collects or processes personal data — display advertising, affiliate links, analytics, or a contact form — we will update this page to describe exactly what is collected and why, and we will do so before the change takes effect. Material changes are flagged at the top of this page for 30 days.
